A varied, hands-on role which provides an excellent first step in your career
Full Time (12 months contract)
Salary: £284.90 to £332.50 per week, depending on age
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as the Cathedral enters a key period. As Development Intern, you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for one of the country’s most remarkable places as we launch our ten year, £10m Development Plan.
This is a varied, hands-on role, which provides an exceptional first step into a career in development, communications and project development in the heritage sector. The nature of the role means that we are looking for the ability to develop strong relationships alongside attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
This is where you come in… We’re looking for a motivated team-player with exceptional interpersonal and administrative skills, willing to take on the challenge and commit themselves to learning. We welcome applications from individuals who are excited by the prospect of growing into the role and making it their own, whilst making a real difference to the Cathedral and its future sustainability. In return we can offer an amazing opportunity to experience working in a multi-faceted heritage site and dedicated support to help you develop your career. Opportunities like this are rare, so if you are looking for a stimulating role where no day is the same and you can really make your mark, this could be the perfect job for you.
