Monk's Kitchen Catering Assistant (Weekends)

Salary: Band 10 (£10.51 per hour for 21 years + & £8.99 per hour for 18-21 years)

We have an exciting opportunity in our Monk’s Kitchen to recruit an experienced Catering Assistant to join our existing team to deliver excellent customer service to the visitors to our fantastic Cathedral and customers to the Monk’s Kitchen on Saturdays and/or Sundays.  The hours will usually be between 10am and 5pm each week.    

The main duties of the Assistant will be to welcome and serve all of our visitors, to prepare and serve a wide range of delicious foods and to assist with the clearing and cleaning to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.  

The successful candidate will have previous catering experience, excellent customer services skills, a ‘can do’ attitude, are flexible and enjoy working with a wide range of people across the Cathedral and as part of a busy team.
