Payroll Officer

Part time (14 hours per week) 
12 month maternity cover

 Band 5: £12,000 per annum (£30,001 FTE)

We are looking for a Payroll Officer to come and join the Diocese of Gloucester.  The Payroll Officer role provides essential support as a key member of the Finance Department.

We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate a minimum of 2 years payroll experience as well as an excellent appreciation of the principals of UK payroll taxation and strong organisational and administrative skills.   

The main responsibilities of the Payroll Officer are to manage the accounting and taxation of stipends, salaries and pensions and to provide payroll services to the GDBF group and related entities (including the GDBE).  Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
