Assistant Communications Officer

Part time (21 hours per week) 

Band 6 £13,293 - £15,608 per annum

(£22,155 - £26,013 FTE)

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is aiming to develop their career in a professional communications environment.

You’ll have excellent communications skills - written and verbal - and the ability to use digital tools to produce great online or print communications. You’ll have a talent for bringing stories to life with excellent and inspiring written content. You will have some professional comms experience with an appetite to develop your career further. We're happy to support a brilliant candidate to learn on the job.

This is a key role within a small, friendly communications team that is always busy and punches above its weight. It’s a varied role, from writing press releases, to organising events, and connecting with people online. Your main focus will be finding great stories and writing all our publications.

This role will give the post holder an excellent grounding in all aspects of delivering engaging and highly professional integrated digital and print publications and campaigns, and could be the launch pad for your career in communications.

This is a one year fixed term position.
