Full time, 35 hours per week
£46,192 - £50,978 per annum*
There are 116 Church of England Primary Schools and 1 Secondary school within the Diocese. The Diocesan Board of Education Team provides support, training and advice to schools on a range of areas including collective worship, Religious Education, leadership in a Church School, spirituality, SIAMS inspections, governance, admissions and buildings. It is responsible to the Diocesan Board of Education.
The Diocesan Board of Education has a new opportunity and is seeking a new Principal Advisor. The Principal Advisor will contribute to the strategic development of outstanding church schools/academies by supporting, advising and training governors, head teachers and senior school/academy leaders to ensure the school/academy is highly effective in its pursuit of excellence and fully accountable for the progress of all learners and the development of its Christian foundation. The Principal Advisor will also contribute to the delivery of the Diocesan Board of Education's strategy on the academisation of Church schools.
This position is 1 year fixed term contract.
