Salary: £20,706-£23,268 (cost of living increase to be applied January 2023)
A brilliant opportunity has arisen to join the Maintenance Team at Gloucester Cathedral. As part of the team, you'll be repairing, maintaining, decorating and renovating the 50+ listed properties owned by the Cathedral (a mix of residential and commercial). You'll also be carrying out maintenance tasks within the Cathedral itself, the linked historic buildings and Cathedral grounds.
Other key responsibilities and accountabilities include:
To provide general maintenance support to the Maintenance team, to include painting and decorating and basic carpentry and general building work.
To work at heights when required
To be familiar with and abide by the Cathedral’s Health & Safety policy at all times, including undergoing necessary training and updates on practices and the use of equipment
To assist the Mason Team when required
Any other tasks as appropriate to the staff member and as requested by the line manager
