This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee or newly qualified teacher wanting to gain some experience working with children in a more informal setting. Completing this internship will enable you to demonstrate to future employers a broad range of creative planning, abilities to work with a large and varied team, behaviour and time management skills to make you stand out from the crowd.
The successful Summer Club Teaching Interns will be working closely with the Education and Learning Development Officer and the wider Education Department Team to help organise and run a Summer Club for children from the local area. Work will include planning, resourcing and running sessions for groups of up to 30 children, ensuring that they are safe and enjoying their time at the Summer Club.
We’re looking for a motivated individual with really good interpersonal and administrative skills, an ability to creative plan new activities for a broad range of children, along with a real interest in learning more about children’s education
